Day one consisted of some of the group matches which determine’s a teams fate in the Gfinity CS:GO Spring Masters II tournament. During the whole tournament, there were a lot of unsuspecting results which could play a big role in the final outcome of the event on Saturday and Sunday.
Group A
Ninjas in Pyjamas vs. Team Liquid Pro
Dust2:
– First Half: NiP (T) won pistol, took Liquid (CT) 13 – 2.
– Overall: 16 – 2 | NiP (CT) took a lead in the series 1-0.
Inferno:
– First Half: NiP (CT) won pistol, took Liquid (T) 14 – 1.
– Overall: 16 – 1 | NiP (T) took the series 2-0.
After their win over Team Liquid Pro, Ninjas in Pyjamas secured themselves three points for the standings while Liquid did not receive any.
Fnatic vs. Vox Eminor
Cache:
– First Half: VE (CT) won pistol, took Fnatic (T) 12 – 3.
– Overall: 16 – 13 | VE (T) took a lead in the series 1-0.
Dust2:
– First Half: Fnatic (T) won pistol, took VE (CT) 8 – 7.
– Overall: 16 – 13 | Fnatic (CT) tied the series 1-1.
After the match tie, both Fnatic and Vox Eminor got one single point in the standings.
Natus Vincere vs. Team Liquid Pro
Dust2:
– First Half: Na’Vi (CT) won pistol, took Liquid (T) 13 – 2.
– Overall: 16 – 2 | Na’Vi (T) took a lead in the series 1-0.
Overpass:
– First Half: Na’Vi (T) won pistol, Liquid (CT) led 11 – 4.
– Overall: 16 -11 | Liquid (T) tied the series 1-1.
After the match tie, both Natus Vincere and Team Liquid Pro got one single point in the standings.
Fnatic vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas
Dust2:
– First Half: Fnatic (T)Â won pistol, took NiP (CT)Â 11 – 4.
– Overall: 16 – 14 | Fnatic (CT)Â took a lead in the series 1-0.
Overpass:
– First Half: FNATIC (T) won pistol, but  NiP (CT) lead 10 – 5.
– Overall: 22 – 20 | NiP won in Double OT to draw the series 1-1.
A thrilling back and forth Game 2 resulted in NiP holding on to tie the series 1-1. Both teams walked away with a point.
Group B
Cloud 9 vs. Team Immunity
Train:
– First Half: C9 (T) won pistol, took Immunity (CT) 13 – 2.
– Overall: 16 – 2 | C9 (CT) took a lead in the series 1-0.
Cache:
– First Half: C9 (T) won pistol, took Immunity (CT) 9 – 6.
– Overall: 16 – 6 | C9 (CT) took the series 2-0.
After their win over Team Immunity, Cloud 9 secured themselves three points for the standings while Immunity did not receive any.
Titan vs. Team Immunity
Mirage:
– First Half: Titan (CT) won pistol, took Immunity (T) 9 – 6.
– Overall: 19 – 17 | Titan (T) took a lead in the series 1-0.
Inferno:
– First Half: Titan (CT) won pistol, took Immunity (T) 14 – 1.
– Overall: 16 – 1 | Titan (T) took the series 2-0.
After their win over Team Immunity, Titan secured themselves three points for the standings while Immunity still have zero.
Virtus.Pro vs. Cloud 9
Cache:
– First Half: VP (CT) won pistol, took C9 (CT) 8 – 7.
– Overall: 16 – 9 | VP (T) took a lead in the series 1-0.
Train:
– First Half: VP (CT) won pistol, took C9 (T) 12 – 3.
– Overall: 16 – 7 | VP (T) took the series 2-0.
After their win over Cloud 9, Virtus.Pro secured themselves three points for the standings while C9 did not receive any from this series.
Team EnVyUs vs. Titan
Cache:
– First Half: nV (T) won pistol, Titan (CT) took it 8 – 7.
– Overall: 16 – 10 |Â nV (CT)Â took a lead in the series 1-0.
Inferno:
– First Half: nV (T) won pistol, Titan (CT) took it 8 – 7.
– Overall: 16 – 14 |Â nV (CT)Â took the series 2-0.
After their win over Titan, Team EnVyUs secured themselves three points for the standings while Titan did not receive any from this series.
