The team formerly known as ex-Elevate will now play under the FollowEsports banner going forward. Currently sitting top of the ESEA NA Pro Division with a 10-1 record, the team has impressed since coming together around four weeks ago.

With Steven “rooRooo” Herrell and Adam “aKis” Kisseberth, released by Elevate, the pair joined with former SapphireKelownaDotCom pair Alec “Slemmy” White and Jacky “Stewie2k” Yip. Completing the lineup is former CLG and Luminosity AWPer Peter “ptr” Gurney. The new team  has already impressed on the NA regional circuit.

For Gurney, FollowEsports is his sixth team this year alone. After parting ways with CLG and seeing his whole team dropped by Luminosity, Ptr left the former Luminosity squad behind to look for a new sponsor.

The signing confirms the departure of FollowEsports’ former Counter-Strike team, the former SapphireKelownaDotCom. The team and sponsor had clashed after it emerged the team were attempting to secure a more lucrative sponsor and engineer their departure from the team. This led to Warren “hades” Rettich leaving the team, before the parties decided to part ways entirely.

Rettich has rejoined his former teammates now free of the FollowEsports banner, and are expected to announce a new brand in the coming weeks.
