So far, the teams include America’s Team Liquid and NRG Esports, France’s Team EnVyUs, and Heroic from Denmark. These teams already help to build a strong international presence from just the first four teams, with four more to go.

The prize pool is set at $100,000 for the event that will feature eight of the world’s top Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams.

Information regarding the event seems to be coming quick, as just yesterday it was released that the event will be held at the Bell Centre in Montreal. The tournament will see action from four games: CS:GO, Dota 2, Hearthstone, and a game new to major esports competitions, Clash Royale, a mobile game.

Both Team EnVyUs and Liquid will make their first appearance at this event this year, while NRG and Heroic return for another year of competition in Canada.
It is unclear when the final four teams for the CS:GO side of things will be announced, but it is rumored that three will be invited and one will qualify in through the Call of the North online event.
