ESL Pro League Finals: Day 2 Recap

It is day two and it is judgement day for the remaining teams, every map counts and could be the difference between progressing to London and going home.

Day two of the ESL Pro League Finals sprung into action early this morning and every match mattered, here are all the scores for day two’s match ups:

Team Liquid vs. Cloud9

  • Map 1 – Dust 2: Liquid win 19-16
  • Map 2 – Cobblestone: Liquid win 16-10

 

Cloud9 are eliminated.

 

Luminosity Gaming vs. OpTic Gaming

  • Map 1 – Inferno: Luminosity win 16-12
  • Map 2 – Overpass:  Luminosity win 16-13

 

OpTic Gaming are eliminated.

 

FNATIC vs. Team Liqiud

  • Map 1 – Cache: FNATIC win 16-6
  • Map 2 – Mirage: FNATIC win 16-13

 

Team Liquid are eliminated.

 

With those matches finished, both Luminosity and FNATIC progress into the semi-finals to join Ninjas in Pajamas and G2.Esports. Friday is a travel day for the teams and the action will resume on Saturday in London at the O2.
