ESL One New York: Final Placings

Over the past few days, eight teams from around the world competed for a chance at the ESL One New York title. The prize pool for the tournament consists of a whopping $250,000 USD for distribution amongst the teams.

By playing matches according to the Swiss Format, only Virtus.pro, Natus Vincere, SK Gaming, and Team Liquid managed to survive the numerous best-of-one matches. Unfortunately, OpTic Gaming, Fnatic, Astralis, and G2 Esports were unable to reach the championship bracket (which consisted of best-of-three matches). Here are the final placings for the event:

1st Place ($125,000 USD)

  • Natus Vincere

2nd Place ($50,000 USD)

  • Virtus.pro

Swiss Result: 3-2

3rd/4th Place ($25,000 USD)

  • SK Gaming

Swiss Result: 3-1

5th/6th Place ($8,500 USD)
