Danish powerhouse Astralis are moving on to the grand finals of the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier, which will be held tomorrow at 1pm CT.
Astralis bested Mousesports in two brief maps, Nuke and Mirage, to secure their spot in the grand finals of ELEAGUE’s $1 million event. Nuke was Astralis’ map pick and Mirage was Mouz’s selection.

The Danes were in control for a majority of the first map, opening up with a 9-6 scoreline on their T side. Following halftime, Mouz fought back and showed glimmers of hope on their own T side, but it wasn’t enough to handle Astralis’ firepower late into the game. Nuke went in favor of the Danish side at 16-11, despite Robin “ropz” Kool’s best efforts against the Danes. Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander was Astralis’ MVP for Nuke with a 29-kill top frag, numerous multi-kills, and a one-vs-three clutch.
The storyline was the same on Mirage, except Astralis were much more dominant on the international team’s map pick. Mouz struggled a lot going up against Astralis’ fortified CT side in the first half, giving them a 12-3 score at the half. After losing the second pistol round and a few offensive rounds, Astralis successfully closed out the series against Mouz at a 16-10 score on Mirage.
Astralis will be going up against the winner of the Natus Vincere vs. Team Liquid match today at 5pm CT. Whoever wins that game will advance to the grand finals of the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier to face Astralis.
