UNiTE Gaming Release Mboze

UNiTE Release MBoZe after PAX Victory

In a shocking move, UNiTE Gaming has dropped Mboze just days after winning the MLG Turtle Beach PAX Prime Invitational. Mboze is now a free agent. UNiTE’s Christopher “Parasite” Duarte tweeted this on Thursday evening:

The link in the tweet takes you to a Twitlonger from Parasite where he goes more in-depth about the decision:

“Us at UNITE have been talking among ourselves these last few days. Although we had recent success at PAX we decided that we needed to balance our team out. We got through PAX by the skin of our teeth. We lost every HARD POINT but one. Our SnD is great and so is our CTF however our HP game was struggling. UNITE has decided to release Mboze. Myself Ricky and Nameless already have our 4th in mind. We will be making the announcement soon. It is always tough making decisions like these after a successful event however, we will feel it will only benefit our team and help us maintain consistency at future events. For those of you that have been here with UNITE GAMING and myself for this whole time, thank you. We hope to have your continued support in the future.”

Here’s what Mboze had to say on Twitter:

According to Parasite, the team of himself, Nameless and Ricky already have a fourth in mind. Who do you think it could be? Where do you think Mboze will go next? Sound off in the comments below and let us know what you think about this surprising development.
