The last three CWL open events for Call of Duty: WWII will be held in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Seattle, and Anaheim, California.

“One of the goals for the Call of Duty World League this season was to detail our entire calendar of events early in the year, so we’re happy to be able to reveal our final three CWL Open events during CWL Dallas,” said Kevin Flynn, the director of Call of Duty esports.

Following the CWL Atlanta Open on March 9 to 11, the next tournament will take competitors across the pond to the UK for the 2018 CWL Birmingham Open on March 30 to April 1.

Last year, the CWL hosted a tournament in Birmingham, but it was an EU-only competition. Now, the best teams in NA will also be included in this year’s CWL Birmingham Open.

“We’ve loved bringing the CWL to Birmingham, and we’re thrilled to bring the competition back for this season,” Flynn said.

After Birmingham, players will have just under three weeks to prepare for the next tournament: the 2018 CWL Seattle Open on April 20 to 22. This will mark the first time that the CWL is hosting an event in the Emerald City.

“We’re excited to bring the CWL to the Pacific-Northwest, giving players in Seattle a chance to compete and watch their favorite players battle for a championship for the first time,” Flynn said.

The sixth and final major open event for WWII will take fans to a very popular location for Call of Duty events. The 2018 CWL Anaheim Open is scheduled to take place on June 15 to 17—just under two months after CWL Seattle.

Anaheim has become one of the most highly-anticipated event locations in Call of Duty, so many fans will be thrilled to see a WWII tournament held there this summer.

“For our west coast fans, Anaheim has become an annual pilgrimage, so we’re excited to finally announced our return for the final CWL Open event of the season later this year,” Flynn said.

All of the 2018 CWL open events will feature a $200,000 prize pool. But, of course, Anaheim won’t be the final tournament for WWII. The CWL Pro League Stage Two Playoffs will be held at the end of July, and then the biggest tournament of the year—the 2018 CWL Championship—will take place in August.

The 2018 CWL season is shaping up to be one of the most exciting years of Call of Duty action, and it all starts today with the CWL Dallas Open.
