Need to check in on how your favorite team is doing for Pro Points? We have you covered here.

With the announcement of CWL London hosted by Gfinity coming in this morning, it’s only fitting that we look at the current state of pro points in the Call of Duty professional scene.

According to a Reddit post by MLG employee and former Call of Duty professional Joey “MerK” Deluca, we also now know of the official cut-off date for pro points at MLG Atlanta, in regards to pool play spots. Teams will have until Jan. 30 at 3 a.m. EST to grind for pro points, and will include points earned at the Gfinity event in London. Open bracket sides will also be seeded by pro points earned, and any teams that earn a pool play spot will have their open bracket team pass refunded.

So once again, here is a look at the top 10 NA teams, the top six EU teams, and a few teams that are in the hunt for each region:

(Note: All pro points are accurate as 3 a.m. EST Thursday morning)

NORTH AMERICA

With only a few days removed from the first edition of our GAMURS 2017 Pro Points standings, ACHES has become the fifth pro in North America to cross the 8,000 point mark before the first GameBattles 2K of 2017.

OpTic only garnered 40 points since Monday thanks to Karma, however its third place spot is in a pretty comfy spot, even with FaZe Clan grinding this week.

Moving down the list, Allegiance’s top five spot may be in trouble by way of Evil Geniuses, with Nagafen and NAMELESS laddering with other pros and getting within 200 points of ALG.

For the standings as a whole, there has not been that much movement that has swayed any team above another, but it does make the first 2K an even more interesting tournament to watch.

EUROPE

The major Gfinity announcement definitely can turn this entire standings board on its head, as it could easily secure a spot at MLG Atlanta for some teams, or be the final nail in the coffin for a team looking to get across the pond.

Unlike the NA standings, there was a bit of movement in the Eurozone, as right around the cut-off point, another orgless team has passed by with Tommey leading the charge.

After this side took out Callum Swanny Swan for Skrapz’s brother wuskin (and with the other orgless team picking up Weeman), the team catapulted themselves over Orbit and Aware to be in the money for an Atlanta spot.

Weeman joined this side after exceL eSports announced its departure from Call of Duty, which also left a hole in the standings for a third orgless team to be in the top nine. There is the possibility of the other three former exceL members forming another team, which further throws the EU pro point balance into question.

With two orgless teams taking up two top-six spots, and with the announcement of the Gfinity event being an invitational that will include pro points, there is definitely another element of urgency for these two sides to find a team to call their own.

On the flip side, it also is pressuring Aware and Orbit, who have fallen out of the top six and needs a good 2K performance to get back into a guarenteed spot. However, the Gfinity Invitational may be the saving grace for these sides, who are well known organizations and may receive invites to this tournament.

Also, there is always the argument of playing better on LAN, so the EU picture is definitely not set in stone before the first online tournament of this season.
