ESN expands, plus roster changes for Dare and Quantic.

It was a relatively slow week in Call of Duty news here at ESN, as September is the calm before the storm that is a LAN-filled month of excitement in October, but nonetheless, here’s your Weekly Recap for the week of September 16, 2013.

CoD: Ghosts Upgrade Plans Revealed

Last week, the details of how you can upgrade your current-gen copy of Call of Duty: Ghosts to a next-gen copy [were released by Activision](http://esports-nation.com/news/call-of-duty-ghosts-next-gen-upgrade-plans-detailed/). Luckily, if you want to pick up the game for Xbox 360 to play it before the Xbox One releases, or for PS3 before PS4 releases, you can do so and then upgrade to the next-gen version of the game for just $9.99.

ESN Expanding Into LoL & DotA 2 Coverage

Our followers’ calls for MOBA coverage [have been answered](http://esports-nation.com/news/esn-expanding-into-league-of-legends-dota-2-coverage/), as ESN has brought on new staff writers for League of Legends and we are still looking for DotA 2 writers to help bring ESN to the next level.

MLG Fall Invitational Teams Announced

MLG announced the four teams invited to their Full Sail Invitational, which is set to take place October 18-20. Those four teams are listed below.

That leaves the rest of the competitive field to head to the UMG Championships in Dallas, which takes place on the same weekend.

MRKN’s New Roster Leaves, Joins Dare

——————-

MRKN Gaming’s new roster was only with the organization for five days before leaving them to join Dare and become their new competitive team. TuQuick, Rozay and Bloodz found a new home with the Dare organization, with Fargo as a new fourth as Studyy would go on to join a different team later in the week.

Scuf Gaming and MLG Announce Partnership

Scuf, the biggest name in controllers and MLG, the biggest name in competitive gaming, came together last week to [create an epic partnership](http://esports-nation.com/news/scuf-gaming-mlg-announce-partnership/) that may change the landscape of eSports in the future. Remember the debates last year if Scufs should be allowed at MLG events? Well, I think we have an idea for the foreseeable future that Scufs are here to stay. It also seems to confirm that Scuf will be working on next-gen controllers as well.

Quantic Drops Censor, Adds Studyy

After leaving MRKN in the week, Studyy needed a new team. After [Quantic dropped Censor](http://esports-nation.com/news/quantic-gaming-drops-censor/), a hole was created on the roster and they needed a fourth and, well…you can guess [what happened next](http://esports-nation.com/news/quantic-gaming-adds-studyy/).
