Ghosts releases on November 5 for all current-gen consoles, including Xbox 360 and PS3. But the PlayStation 4 releases on November 15, and the Xbox One releases the following week on November 22. If you can’t or don’t want to wait a few weeks to play Call of Duty: Ghosts on next-gen hardware, you can simply purchase the game on current-gen systems and then pay a fee of $9.99 to upgrade to the next-gen version. For example, Xbox 360 -> Xbox One and PS3 -> PS4.

One of the plans detailed involves buying a physical copy of the game for Xbox 360, and then downloading a digital version for Xbox One for $9.99, with a voucher that is included with the physical 360 copy. It sounds more complicated than it is, but basically, this is a good thing. Ten dollars is ten dollars, but that much to upgrade to a next-gen version is not all that bad, all things considered.

The full release can be found on [Call of Duty’s Web site](http://community.callofduty.com/community/call_of_duty/english/ghosts/blog/2013/09/16/call-of-duty-ghosts-seamless-next-gen-upgrade-plans) with more detailed information including different retailers and more, so be sure to check it out if you have any more questions.
