100 Thieves took down OpTic Gaming 3-1 in the winners bracket finals at CWL London today. The two teams met earlier in the tournament during pool play, and OpTic won that showdown 3-1. But this matchup went differently for the Green Wall.

Sam “Octane” Larew was slaying everything in sight to help 100 Thieves open the series with a 250-180 win on Arsenal Hardpoint. OpTic responded immediately, however, with an impressive 6-1 victory on Payload Search and Destroy.

Map three, Arsenal Control, was an extremely hard-fought battle. 100 Thieves clutched up with only 0.3 seconds left in the final round to secure the 3-2 win.

After that intense Control map, the series transitioned to Hacienda Hardpoint—the only map that was a repeat from the first match between these two teams at CWL London (OpTic won 250-230).

This time, however, 100 Thieves emerged victorious behind a strong performance from Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat. They won map four 250-183 to send the Green Wall down to the losers bracket.

100 Thieves have now guaranteed their spot in the grand finals at CWL London. OpTic, on the other hand, will have to battle against eUnited in the losers bracket finals, which is the next match on stream.
