The Wellness Center is accessible as Saga in the Return 5 – Old Gods chapter of Alan Wake 2, when you’re searching for Tor at the Valhalla Nursing Home. The Wellness Center computer can be found in the Security Room of the facility and you need to solve the password to unlock the doors Tor went through to continue to follow his trail.

The security computer requires a six-digit password, which you need to solve using the environmental clues in the room. This won’t be the first time you’ve needed to find a computer password in Alan Wake 2, the Witchfinder’s Station also requires a computer password to unlock.

First off, be prepared to mix three forms of knowledge together to complete this puzzle. From some clever thinking to phases of the moon, this one requires some thought, to put it mildly.

Check the filing cabinet to the left of the computer and you’ll find a letter that says Vladimir Blum, seemingly the facility’s head of security, has been accepted to join Cult of the Trees. The letter, from the Koskelas brothers, says the initiation will take place on “the day after the next new moon.”

Turn left again and head towards the kitchenette, you’ll find a diary beside a picture of a dog. If you read the diary you’ll find that Vlad writes his dates in European-style instead of American-style, with the date first instead of the month. You also see that Vlad got his acceptance letter on August 15 and says that “this month everything will change,” indicating his initiation is in August of the year the game is set in, 2023.

Turn left again and you should see a calendar on the wall. If you look at the calendar you can see symbols depicting different phases of the moon. We know that Vlad received his letter on August 15, 2023, and that his initiation is due to take place the day after the next new moon. The next new moon after August 15 is August 16, so his initiation is the day after that: August 17, 2023.

The six-digit code is the date of his initiation. This, in European format, is 170823. Enter that into the computer and you’ll be in. To unlock the door, press the indicated button, but you can also read some emails and watch camera footage of Tor raving through the halls of the center.
