Riot is creating a new product that will allow players to showcase their League accomplishments and skills

But, what is it?
This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Earlier today, Riot Games showcased its plans for new League of Legends skins coming out this year—but one thing stuck out near the end of the presentation.

Riot talked about plans for a new product that will allow players to track and showcase their skills to others in the community. Riot also discussed how the product will allow players to showcase their accomplishments on their favorite champions while “flexing against opponents in-game.”

But Riot failed to really show anything about the product in question or even talk about what it is or how it will work. The developer only promised to showcase it more in the “first half of the year.”

While we don’t know anything about this new product at this time, we can assume that Riot plans to implement something like the mastery system, where players can show off their champion level against opponents in-game through a cheeky taunt above their heads.

It could, of course, be something else entirely. Until Riot actually tells us what it is, though, all we can do is keep guessing what this “product” will turn out to be—or if it will even turn up at all.
