The hero, revealed by Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan at BlizzCon 2017, deals damage while healing her allies. And her power is all in her hands: Her left hand heals allies, while the right hand does long-range damage.

During the Overwatch – What’s Next? panel at BlizzCon, Blizzard revealed Moira’s origins. Once a member of Blackwatch, Moira was displeased with the limits Overwatch placed on science. But once free from Overwatch’s rule and the world’s law, she was able to speed up her research and make what she calls great scientific bounds.

The panel also revealed a few of Moira’s new skins, too—and they’re amazing.

Moira will head into Overwatch’s PTR before she’s added to the live game. Blizzard hasn’t yet detailed a timeline, though.
