Epic Games is ringing in the new year by giving Fortnite players more time to complete the challenges in its holiday-themed event.

The 14 Days of Fortnite event will return to the popular battle royale game next week, Epic announced today. Although an exact return date wasn’t provided, the event will be available until Jan. 15 at 2am CT.

“We communicated an incorrect end date for the 14 Days of Fortnite event and did not feel the Equalizer Glider compensation was the right approach,” Epic said. “After further discussion, we’ve decided to bring back this event early next week through [Jan. 15 at 2am CT]. We’ll also be enabling some of the most popular Limited Time Modes that were available during the event.”

Throughout the 14 Days of Fortnite event, Epic ended 2018 by providing a new, unique challenge each day for players to complete. Each challenge gave players the chance to unlock a rare reward—and by extending the event, players will have more time to get all of them.

On the last day of the event, the final challenge rewarded players with a sweet Equalizer glider. But, unfortunately, some players missed out on unlocking the glider, among other awards. Now, though, Epic hopes that this extended period will allow everyone to get all of the rewards for this event.

If you don’t complete the challenges before Jan. 15, however, you’ll most likely be out of luck—it’s doubtful that Epic would bring back the 14 Days of Fortnite event for a third time.
