Call of Duty fans have been given a sneak peek at one of the newest maps coming in the franchise’s next installment.
Treyarch unveiled the Black Ops 4 map Morocco on Twitter earlier today. The map description says “rebels in a small Moroccan village are using government military supply planes as target practice as they fly over the surrounding Sahara Desert.”
Treyarch only released a 19-second video of the map, but that’s enough to get Call of Duty fans excited. Just based on this brief viewing of Morocco, some fans believe it looks somewhat similar to Yemen from Black Ops II.Â

With the introduction of Morocco, there will be at least 12 multiplayer maps in Black Ops 4 at launch. Four fan-favorite maps from previous titles will be remastered in Black Ops 4—Jungle, Summit, and Firing Range from Black Ops, as well as Slums from Black Ops II. They’ll be joined by new multiplayer maps Arsenal, Contraband, Frequency, Gridlock, Hacienda, Payload, Seaside, and now, Morocco.
More multiplayer maps will almost certainly be added post-launch as DLC content is released, and even more unknown maps could be included when Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 becomes available worldwide on Oct. 12.
