With Amazon Games’ new MMO New World releasing its closed beta on Tuesday, July 20, and worldwide on Aug. 31, many players are interested in playing the game that’s promised to feature 1,000 people on a server at a time and try an MMO that isn’t World of Warcraft.
But before you pre-order either the Standard ($39.99) or Deluxe edition ($49.99) on Amazon or Steam, it’s better to take a look at the minimum and recommended system requirements to run New World so you can enjoy the full experience when playing the game.
The minimum system requirements don’t ask for much. Here’s what your PC should have to run the game:

- Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-2400 / AMD CPU with 4 physical cores @ 3Ghz
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 670 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 or better

- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 35 GB available space

Of course, it’s always better to be above the minimum system requirements, especially because the game will receive updates from time to time. So, if you have the money to invest in better parts, here are the recommended system requirements:

- Memory: 16 GB RAM
