New FOF Summer Stars promotion goes live in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team

Players have a chance of getting a 99-rated Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo now.

EA Sports has released the second team from the Festival of FUTball (FOF) promotion, the Summer Stars. It will include permanently upgraded player items celebrating some of the best national team performances since the start of the FOF promo.

The FOF promotion started on June 11 and celebrates the Euro World Cup in Russia and Copa America. It kicked off with the Path to Glory team and brought players a variety of themed squad building challenges and objectives.

This team features 14 players from different nationalities and clubs. The highlights are the 99-rated Lionel Messi from Barcelona, 99-rated Cristiano Ronaldo from Piemonte Calcio, and 98-rated Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester. These players already have several upgraded and special versions, but this one is the highest-rated.

This is the first team of the Summer Stars selection and players can expect another one next week following the same pattern of Path to Glory. Here are all the players added with the first Summer Stars promo:

  • ST: Cristiano Ronaldo 99-rated (Piemonte Calcio)
  • RF: Kevin De Bruyne 98-rated (Manchester City)
