Due to complications with mid laner Noh “Ninja” Geon-woo and Kim “Emperor” Jin-hyun’s work visas, the team will instead be using Legendary’s Aaron “Bischu” Kim as well as Frank Fang Gaming’s James “Lattman” Lattman in their place. In addition, the team has opted to use support Terry “Baby” Chuong instead of Andy “Smoothie” Ta due to Chuong’s in-game synergy with Lattman from previous experiences at Frank Fang.

Because of this sudden substitution, the Dragon Knights have lost all of their bans for this weekend’s LCS games, according to Riot Games’s LoL Esports Twitter page.

#LCS info: TDK will play with emergency substitutes this weekend but will forfeit all bans as they failed to provide a valid roster on time.

This is not the first time the Dragon Knights suffered complications with player visas, however. On March 13, the team called upon Misfits’ Alexey “Alex Ich” Ichetovkin, Oleksii “RF Legendary” Kuziuta, and Maria “Remilia” Creveling. Although this substitution was temporary, the issues still remain with the Dragon Knights and their Korean imports on the squad.

Although this will be Lattman and Kim’s first chance at the professional stage, Chuong is no stranger. He previously subbed with Counter Logic Gaming on Aug. 2, 2014, while the main squad decided to bootcamp in Korea due to the renewal of Shin “Seraph” Woo-yeon’s visa.

Lattman and Chuong’s team, Frank Fang Gaming, was eliminated from the North American Challenger Series qualifiers earlier this week in a defeat against Cloud9 Tempest. In similar light, Kim’s team was disqualified for not submitting their paperwork on time to Riot Games.
