The North American teams will head to California next weekend, with the European hopefuls traveling to Katowice, Poland the following week. Each tournament will see the teams compete for a share of $100,000 and, perhaps more importantly, two spots in the $500,000 Heroes of the Storm Spring Championship in South Korea.

World champions Cloud9 will look to avenge their Heroes Rising loss against Bob Ross Fan Club in California. Tempo Storm and COGnitive Gaming will look to continue their rebuilding after impressive performances in the second qualifier, with newcomers like Team Blaze and King of Blades looking to make a statement. Blaze impressed at Heroes Rising, coming fourth.

In Europe established winners like Team Liquid, Fnatic, Na`Vi and Team Dignitas will be challenged by newcomers like mYinsanity and GooglelshetZont. Winning the first qualifier alongside Liquid, Russian side GooglelshetZont beat DreamHack Winter champions Fnatic to claim the spot.

Almost all of the top teams in each region managed to make the cut, but the final North American qualifier saw teams like the newly formed Resurgence fail to win a spot in Los Angeles. The team, consisting of former SK Gaming, COGnitive Gaming, and Murloc Geniuses players, looked strong in the final qualifier but lost in both the upper and lower bracket finals to finish third.

The top two teams from each event will travel to South Korea for the Spring Finals from April 1 to 3. EStar Gaming and EDward Gaming have already secured their spots to represent China.
