After a slew of roster changes in recent weeks, European LCS bottom-dwellers Giants Gaming have made yet another swap. Morgan “HustlinBeast” Granberg has stepped in at the support role to replace Oskar “Godfred” Lundström.

Granberg had been featuring for the Giants Underdoges, the amateur squad under the organization’s banner. The team has yet to achieve much outside of their native Spain, falling to Millenium in the qualifiers for the Challenger Series earlier in the year.

With the LCS team struggling to pick up results and the relegation tournament looming, it seems the drastic measure to change four of the five starting members is their last chance at salvaging their season.

Godfred was one of the shining lights on Giants last year, but has failed to match that consistency so far in 2016. Giants have struggled at the bottom of the standings throughout the Spring Split, and Godfred is hardly the only player to underperform.

Giants face off against Origen and ROCCAT in the final week of the LCS. Their best possible scenario being a ninth-place finish, which would let them avoid the opening round of the relegation tournament. Team Huma and Copenhagen Wolves are the two Challenger Series teams that will participate with seeding decided at today’s Challenger Series grand final.
