One of 2015’s breakout stars, Orange took home $10,000 with a win over fellow Swede Jeffrey “Sjow” Brusi in the final of Seat Story Cup VI.

Orange made it through his first group stage with wins over Seat Story V finalist “J4ckieChan” and Michael “Maverick” Looze, and advanced to a tough group in the second phase. Losing his opening match to Sjow, Orange had to overcome 2016’s player of the year Sebastian “Xixo” Bentert and Tugay “MrYagut” Evsan.

In the playoffs, Orange won out over Seat Story Cup II champion Janne “Savjz” Mikkonen and Millenium’s Torlk before denying Sjow his first tournament victory.

After winning ESL Katowice and Seat Story Cup III in early 2015 Orange has struggled for consistent form since, only claiming one tournament in 2016.

Orange’s win is also the first Hearthstone title for his team, Swedish organisation Alliance. Orange joined the team in September after leaving Team Archon, and was joined by 2015 world champion Sebastian “Ostkaka” Engwall in November.

Seat Story Cup is one of Hearthstone’s most unique events, combining top pros with the most popular personalities in a fun and relaxed environment at Take TV’s German studios.
