Major League Gaming has released the official MLG Variant “Version Three” game types, settings, and restrictions that will be used at the MLG Columbus Open – 25K tournament and the upcoming MLG 10K Series tournament.
Please note that there will be no veto system implemented into the tournament, and that Search and Destroy is now a game-three game mode in all best-of-three series. Assumingly, Search and Destroy has been moved to a game-three game mode due to Uplink or Capture the Flag becoming the second game mode in the rotation. MLG is planning to release the game mode’s round rotation sometime next week.
Note: Uplink remains a game mode. Stim, Cloak, and Threat Grenades are still unrestricted.
