Pool Play Predictions

Pool Play will work similarly to how it has been done in the past, except this time bracket play is single elimination. The top two teams from each pool will move onto a single elimination bracket to face off for the remainder of the tournament, while the bottom two teams will be eliminated. More information on bracket play can be found on the  ESWC 2015: Event Preview.

Group 1: Barrage eSports (UK), Millenium (FR), OpTic Gaming (US), Denial eSports (US)

  • 1st – OpTic Gaming
  • 2nd – Denial eSports
  • 3rd – Millenium
  • 4th – Barrage eSports

OpTic Gaming will be having Ian “ Enable” Wyatt substitute at this event for Damon “ Karma” Barlow (who replaced Matthew “ NaDeSHoT” Haag), who’s having international traveling issues. With Enable, it still seems that OpTic Gaming are just as dominant, looking to take first in Group 2 against the Call of Duty World Champions, Denial eSports.

Group 2: FaZe France (FR), Team Revenge (US), Epsilon eSports (UK), Vitality Storm (UK)

  • 1st – Team Revenge
  • 2nd – Epsilon eSports
  • 3rd – Vitality Storm
  • 4th – FaZe France

Team Revenge has had unfortunate roster changes recently, due to not having a position within the MLG Pro League Season 2; however, their former CoD Champs – second place roster will be competing together for one last time. It seems reasonable that they’ll be looking to finish strong together at this event, taking first in Group 2. Epsilon eSports is arguably the most dominant European team, and they’ll undoubtedly be looking to take a close second in Group 2.

Overall Top 4 Predictions

  • 1st Place: OpTic Gaming

    • $20,000
  • 2nd Place: Denial eSports

    • $10,000
  • 3rd Place: Team Revenge

    • $6,000
  • 4th Place: Epsilon eSports

    • $6,000

The bottom four teams from their respective pools, will receive $2,000 each for their competing at the ESWC event.
