Canadian Playing Restrictions Lifted on Gamebattles

Restrictions on Canadian players competing in online Gamebattles tournaments lifted.

Earlier today there was confirmation from Chris Puckett and Sundance that the Canadian restrictions (except Quebec) on players not being able to participate in Gamebattles online tournaments has been lifted. This great news means that Canadians will now be able to compete for prize money and pro points with their teams online.

It’s about time that the restriction was finally lifted due to the unfairness it was causing some players as well as their teams in regards to the pro points now offered in online Gamebattles tournaments. Hopefully now we can see an increase in teams that enter these tournaments and increases in the competition levels as well.
