SLTV StarSeries XII Finals: Preview

With Gfinity CS:GO Spring Masters I coming to a close last weekend, the Counter Strike community has another tournament just around the corner, the SLTV Starseries XII Finals!

With Gfinity CS:GO Spring Masters I coming to a close last weekend, the Counter Strike community has another tournament beginning tomorrow! From March 27-29, Starladder.tv will be hosting the final of one of the most elite Counter Strike events, CS:GO SLTV StarSeries XII Finals in the Cybersport Arena Kiev, Ukraine.

Rules:


  • Six online qualified teams
  • The tournament will be in a double elimination format
  • All matches will be in a best-of-three series, with an exception to the Grand Final.
  • The Grand Final will be contested as a best-of-five series.

Here you can find a list of the six official teams that will be attending the event this weekend:

  • Team EnVyUs (France): NBK, shox, kioShiMa, Happy and SmithZz.
  • Virtus.Pro (Poland): Neo, TaZ, byali, Pasza, Snax
  • Titan (France): Ex6TenZ, apEX, RpK, kennyS, Maniac
  • Natus Vincere (Ukraine): flamie, Edward, Zeus, GuardiaN, seized
  • Team SoloMid (Denmark): device, dupreeh, karrigan, Xyp9x, cajunb
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas (Sweden): f0rest, GeT_RiGhT, Xizt, friberg, allu 

Prize Pool Breakdown:


The total prize pool for the CS:GO SLTV StarSeries event will be a grand total of $38,000. You can find a breakdown of the prize money below:

  • 1st place – $18,000
  • 2nd place – $9,000
  • 3rd place – $5,000
  • 4th place – $3,000
  • 5th place – $1,500
  • 6th place – $1,500

Here is the official schedule of the start times for this weekends event, SLTV have said there will be more to follow:

  • March 27: 10:00am CET – 4 Bo3 Matches
  • March 28: 10:00am CET – 4 Bo3 Matches
  • March 29: 14:00pm CET – 1 Bo3 Match and the Bo5 Grand Final

After a great event at Gfinity’s CS:GO Spring Masters and their general playing performance, we expect the Team EnVy lineup to come out strong right from the beginning of the event. With that being said, everyone across the Counter Strike community will expect the Ninjas in Pyjamas team to finally make their comeback after a losing drought.
