365 days, 52 weeks, 525,600 minutes, however you want to measure it, a one year ban has been brought upon team Epsilon for match fixing.
According to Joey “fxy0” Schlosser’s recent Facebook post, he and his teammates will be banned from all Valve-sponsored events. Valve has yet to release an official statement on the issue. It isn’t known whether or not this ban includes ScreaM who, according to members of Team Epsilon, did not take part in the match-fixing.
Valve recently banned iBUYPOWER indefinitely for match-fixing, though Team iBP denied the allegations up until the bans were made. For this instance however, members of Epsilon admitted guilt prior to their own bans, and it appears that coming clean rather than denying allegations in this manner results in a lesser punishment from Valve.

After last night’s facebook post by fxy0, Epsilon eSports has officially released Joey “fxy0” Schlosser and Kevin “Uzzziii” Vernel. This announcement came via a blog post on their website where they also announced that the last remaining member of Team Epsilon, Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom, will remain on the Epsilon squad and will begin to rebuild their CS:GO team.
