Gambit Announces Babunia as New Jungler

Bartosz “Babunia” Dzikowski will be the new Gambit.CIS jungler, the team announced Thursday.

Bartosz “Babunia”Dzikowski will be the new Gambit.CIS jungler, the team announced Thursday.Babunia’s signing comesfollowing the departure of Danil “Diamondprox”Reshetnikov after he left for an undisclosed foreignteam following a splitlong visa issue.

“We are glad to welcome Babunia to our ranks,” saidGambit Head Coach Nikita “saetia” Burlakov.“[Babunia] is without a doubt one of the most experienced andproficient players in Europe and he is extremely motivated to proveit.

“His experience and leadership qualities will definitelyallow us to secure a spot in the upper part of the tournamenttable.”

Babunia comes to Gambit withover two years of EU challenger league experience, as well as abrief time in the Turkish Promotion League (International Wildcardregion). In 2014, Babunia played for Denial eSports in the EUChallenger Series where the team finished third in the SpringPlayoffs. Following his time with Denial, Babunia played forTricked eSport, Dark Passage White, and Zone eSports.

Babunia’s most recent experience was with New Blaze, an EUChallenger series team that featured MSI invitee SuperMassiveeSports’s AD Carry Nicolaj “Achuu” Ellesgaard.New Blaze lost in the round of 32 to Bottled Water.

Gambit begins the Summer Split LoL Continental League(International Wildcard region) at the end of May. The team rostercan be found below.
