The Facebook post reads, “Hello fans. Today, we have some sad news. Samsung Galaxy’s coach Mr. Jung Soo Kim and player Mr. Young Jae Kwon’s contracts are going to terminate on Nov. 30. We fully appreciate them for their efforts this last whole year. Please give them a best cheer and encourage.”

Coach Kim Jeong-soo was a part of this team for exactly one year, and had a major influence on the team during his time as the coach. With the team’s Worlds performance being impressive enough to contest SK Telecom T1, it’s clear that the coach played an integral role in the team’s success. As for Helper, he only had three notable appearances for the team. Even so, he contributed to two of Samsung Galaxy’s victories, keeping his time with them positive.

Whether or not Samsung Galaxy will acquire a new coach is yet to be seen, but may be announced over the coming weeks.
