FaZe Clan, Team Reciprocity mount incredible comebacks in CWL Pro League

The Reciprocity vs. UYU series is one of the best of Black Ops 4.

After falling behind two games against Evil Geniuses, it appeared FaZe Clan were destined to lose their eighth match of the CWL Pro League season.

But FaZe began to climb back into the series with a 3-1 win on Gridlock Control. And after seemingly learning from their mistakes from the first Hardpoint, FaZe tied the series with a 250-123 Gridlock HP win. On the final map, Evil Geniuses put up a fight, but they could not stop the reverse sweep.

But the next match of the day, Team Reciprocity vs. UYU, featured possibly an even more absurd comeback.

Reciprocity squeaked out a back-and-forth opening Hardpoint on Hacienda to take the early series lead. UYU mounted a comeback in the subsequent Search and Destroy, however, coming back from a 4-1 deficit to tie the series.

UYU took their first lead of the series with a 3-1 win on Gridlock Control, but the next map, Arsenal Hardpoint, would turn out to be one of the crazier Hardpoints of the season.

Needing just eight points to win the map and series, UYU earned six points after a rotation, but after several contests and crucial gunfight wins, Reciprocity were able to stop UYU from earning any more points. Instead, they reached the 250-point mark, beating UYU by just two points.

On the last map, Reciprocity again found themselves behind. This time, after being down 4-0, Reciprocity won six straight rounds to close out the series and complete one of the most exciting comebacks in Black Ops 4.

In the other two matches of the day, OpTic Gaming and Gen.G prevailed over Midnight Esports and Luminosity, respectively. But good news for Luminosity fans: They won their first Search and Destroy game since CWL London.
