How to unlock the JAK Lance in MW3 and Warzone

We will miss you, Aftermarket Parts.

With such a vast amount of weapons to choose from, it’s easy to see how guns in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone can get forgotten or barely used.

Recommended Videos

That’s why Aftermarket Parts have made such a great addition to the franchise in MW3. These parts, sometimes attachments or full-fledged Conversion Kits, can take a weak or unpopular gun and transform it into something fun, powerful, or just worth using again.

One such Aftermarket Part is the JAK Lance, which takes a forgotten Modern Warfare 2 gun and changes it completely into something new. Whether it’s dominant or not is irrelevant because it makes the weapon worth trying out again. And since the feature seems unlikely to return in Black Ops 6, it’s unfortunately one of the final Aftermarket Parts to be added to the game.

Here’s everything to know about the JAK Lance Aftermarket Part in MW3 and Warzone.

What is the JAK Lance in MW3 and Warzone?

The JAK Lance is an Aftermarket Part and Conversion Kit for the MX Guardian shotgun in MW3 and Warzone, released during week two of season six of MW3.

The Conversion Kit gives the MX Guardian a “pressurized magazine that fires three ballistic rivets, one per magazine rotation,” where “pressure builds while the weapon is idle until the maximum output is reached, and “at critical pressure, velocity, and precision are vastly improved.”

A quick week. Screenshot by Dot Esports

To unlock the JAK Lance in MW3 and Warzone, players must complete any five weekly challenges within MW3’s season six, week two. These challenges can be finished across MW3 multiplayer, Warzone, or MW3 Zombies, and any combination of five will get it done.

Here are all of the challenges to complete in MW3’s season six, week two.

MW3 Season 6 Week 2 challenges

MW3 multiplayer

  • Get 35 operator akimbo kills.
  • Get 25 operator kills shortly after sprinting.
  • Get 20 operator kills with a weapon set to burst fire mode.
  • Get 20 operator kills from behind.
  • Get 10 operator point blank or melee kills.
  • Get 10 close calls or operator kills after death.
  • Get two operator kills with one magazine three times.

Warzone

  • In Warzone Urzikstan, open 30 loot caches in the North-West region.
  • In Warzone Urzikstan, open 30 loot caches in the Eastern region.
  • In Warzone Urzikstan, open 30 loot caches in the Southern region.
  • In Warzone Urzikstan, open 30 loot caches in the Central region.

  • In Warzone, complete 20 contracts.
  • In Warzone, get seven operator kills or kill assists.

MW3 Zombies

  • Get 150 kills with an akimbo weapon.
  • Get 25 Hellhound kills.

  • Get 100 critical kills with an assault rifle.
  • Get 50 melee Mercenary kills.
  • Get 125 kills with a battle rifle while having at least four active perks.
  • Get 10 kills without being hit 20 times.

This week’s challenges are pretty simple and most can be completed in just a few games of multiplayer. Hop into the Shipment 24/7 playlist with akimbo Renetti pistols to knock out multiple challenges at once, and the others should come naturally via playing. It can be done even more quickly if you play in the Hardcore variant of the multiplayer playlist.

Of course, your preferred game mode of choice is always best, so it can be finished in Warzone, Zombies, or any combination until you finish five total challenges and the new shotgun variant will be yours in no time.
