How to get Hovercraft in PUBG Mobile

Conquer both land and water with the Hovercraft.

Added with version 3.4, the Hovercraft is an amphibious vehicle in PUBG Mobile, meaning it runs on land and water. So, if you get one of these, you won’t need to run around looking for a Buggy, UAZ, or Dacia after crossing a water body on a PG-117. Boasting a sturdy, bullet-deflecting body, it offers an incredibly flexible ride into the safe zone and most of the benefits of a BRDM without the need to score a flare drop.

Now that you know all of the biggest advantages of Hovercrafts in PUBG Mobile, here’s how to get one.

As much as we’d like to help you with the exact locations, unfortunately, vehicle spawns in PUBG Mobile are random. To top it off, it’s a rare vehicle. But while there’s no guarantee that a spot will spawn the Hovercraft every time you load into a match, we can help you pinpoint areas where it usually pops up.

The Hovercraft is currently exclusively found on the Erangel and Miramar maps in PUBG Mobile. It won’t be parked at a roadside like you’d expect for Dacias, UAZs, and Buggies. It only spawns on shores near the seas—not river banks either. You may mistake it as a drop vehicle based on how rarely it spawns, but it’s just the game’s annoying RnG spawn algorithm. You may find a Hovercraft in the following areas in Erangel:

  1. Military Base Island: Look around the shores near the Military Base bridge.
  2. Novorepnoye: Look around the shores near the containers and the Novo bridge.
  3. Mylta Power: Look around the eastern shores.
  4. Georgopol: Look near the sea shores at the south of the city and the north of containers.

In Miramar, the Hovercraft is located on the southern shores of the map near Valle De Mar, Puerto Paraiso, Prison, and Impala.

Most players have reported finding a Hovercraft at the shores located north of the Military Island, but you may have to load into a couple of matches before you get one.

Hovercraft tips and tricks for PUBG Mobile

The Hovercraft boasts glass armor like that of the drop-only BRDM in PUBG Mobile, so while enemies can’t shoot you, you can’t shoot back at them either. It can be destroyed faster than the BRDM, but its unique design offers a reliable cover, giving you plenty of time to chalk out a plan in the final zones. It doesn’t flaunt raised tires like other vehicles, so enemies can’t hit your feet. There’s a reason why it’s a rare find.

The Hovercraft traverses faster than the PG-117 and BRDM on water, offering a huge advantage if you drop near the Military Island and have to rotate toward the north of the map. Use its armored body to protect yourself if you crash into hot drop areas close to the shores like Mylta, Ferry Pier, and Primorsk to escape the safe zone.

Unlike other vehicles, the Hovercraft is easier to rotate and move around, even in cramped spaces. So, if you’ve been mocked for your driving skills in PUBG Mobile, this vehicle is what you needed all this while.
