Singularity 2.0 skin bundle might be next must-buy for VALORANT players

Out of this world.

If you’ve been holding out on buying new skins in VALORANT, then the next bundle might be the one that opens up your wallet. Riot unveiled the game’s upcoming Singularity 2.0 bundle today, and it features some of the most popular weapons in the game.

In the trailer from Riot, the Singularity 2.0 skin line will be adorned on the Vandal and the Ghost, which are two of the most-used weapons in VALORANT. Although there will be only three skins in the collection, the line will also come with a highly-coveted Butterfly Knife, which should be a huge selling point for many players in the community.

The Butterfly Knife has been one of the most popular melees in the game with its flashy design, intricate inspect and attack animations, and the wild tricks that can be done by flipping open the knife to show off to your friends when they’re spectating you. The knife is initially folded, unlike other melee weapons, and the player must unfold the knife to equip it with a fancy flourish.

There are also only a few Butterfly Knife melees in the game today, including the Recon Balisong, the Champions 2022 melee, RGX 11Z Pro Firefly, Yoru’s Butterfly Comb, the Magepunk Sparkswitch, and the Night Market Butterfly. It also helps that the Singularity 2.0 version of the knife might arguably be the best version of the knife if you’re a fan of louder, brighter skin lines.

In general, the Singularity 2.0 skin line features familiar design choices as the original release of the skin line, including the original purple colorway with gold, blue, and red variants. The gold version might be one of the best-looking variants in the set, as the weapons exude a heavenly aura with a white glow that has you feeling like a warrior from the clouds.

The exact release date for the Singularity 2.0 skin line hasn’t been confirmed by Riot Games, but it could drop alongside the rumored Sunset changes being implemented in Patch 9.08.
