You may recognise a lot of names from the qualified team list for Champs if you tuned into the Split 2 Playoffs from Aug. 29 to Sept. 1. Outside these names, there are teams that failed to make the Playoffs, but acquired more than enough points in Pro League, and return for a chance to win big at the ALGS Championship for year four.

Set for January 2025, pros from the qualified teams will be busy with Apex rostermania, meta practise and the newly announced BLGS, for the time being.

The Pro League relegated teams will have one last chance to qualify for the impending Apex Championship at the LCQ, on Sunday, Sept. 15. The top two teams from each region will qualify for the 2024 Championship and complete the groups list.

It’s an understatement to say the competition for 2024’s Apex has been ferocious. Every region is an absolute threat to another, with each LAN’s duration growing every time we tune in to watch our favorite teams battle it out. We’ve experienced intense and frankly, legendary Apex entertainment throughout 2024.

From EWC’s whopping 13 matches in early Aug. to the 10 matches for ALGS Split Two Playoffs in late Aug, both huge events exceeded expectations and showed how tough the competition is, and just how good every Apex pro has truly become. The Apex script has been destroyed; no longer is it clear who will win when heading into the next LAN—we’ve had three different teams in three different regions lift the trophy in 2024 alone.

The ALGS Championship will take place in Sapporo, Japan and start on Jan. 29 and end Feb. 2, 2025. Expect the unexpected to conclude year four of the ALGS.
