Most players attend the faire to boost professions through a series of quests.

Patch 11.0 introduced Warbands to WoW. Darkmoon Faire prize tickets are classified as Warband currency, which you can share with several alternate characters.

The location of The War Within Darkmoon Faire is the Southern Darkmoon Island. Portals used to get there are different for Alliance and Horde players.

  • Alliance portal: Outside Goldshire in Elywnn Forest, coordinates are 41 and 69
  • Horde portal: South of Thunder Bluff in Mulgore, coordinates are 36 and 36

What are the next The War Within Darkmoon Faire dates?

The Darkmoon Faire returns to WoW following the global launch of The War Within. Dates for the event are Sept. 1 to 7. This is the first Darkmoon Faire in the new expansion. The event drops once a month for a week, usually at the start of a month.

How to earn reputation and XP buffs at TWW Darkmoon Faire

The September Darkmoon Faire provides all players a chance to earn 10 percent more experience and reputation buffs through the purchase of a Darkmoon Top Hat. You’ll also need to ride the Darkmoon roller coaster or the carousel.

Players who haven’t completed The War Within campaign yet or are still working through all the side quests scattered through the four zones of Khaz Algar can benefit greatly from the Darkmoon Top Hat. Completing these particular WoW tasks with the Darkmoon buff earns you renown rewards for each of the four zones.
