All 8 Mining Knowledge Point Treasure locations

Mining is one of the professions you can choose from in World of Warcraft: The War Within, which gives you access to valuable mined materials across Khaz Alhar.

In this latest expansion, there are eight Mining Knowledge Treasures you can find and use to increase your Khaz Algar Mining Knowledge. Here’s how you can get your hands on them!

All 8 Mining Knowledge Treasure locations in WoW The War Within

In WoW The War Within, there are eight Mining Knowledge Treasures scattered across Khaz Algar, with two in each of the zones. To find each of these Knowledge Treasures, you must first learn Mining and Khaz Algar Mining from a Mining Profession Trainer.

The easiest one to find is Tarib. He’s located in the Forgegrounds of Dornogal, roughly at the coordinates 52 and 52. Once you’ve learned Khaz Algar Mining, you can find all eight Mining Knowledge Treasures at the following locations.

1) Dornogal Chisel: Dornogal, Isle of Dorn

Dornogal Chisel can be found by the red stone on the southeastern platform of Dornogal, roughly at the coordinates 36 and 79.

2) Earthen Miner’s Gavel: Boulder Springs, Isle of Dorn

Earthen Miner’s Gavel can be found on a table at a mining facility in Boulder Springs, roughly at the coordinates 58 and 62.

3) Regenerating Ore: Taelloch, the Ringing Deeps

Regenerating Ore can be found by interacting with a pile of dirt with blue stones in Taelloch, roughly at the coordinates 66 and 66. There are Cursed Miners and Skardyn in the area, so be careful, as they will attack if you get too close.

4) Earthen Excavator’s Shovel: North Gundargaz, the Ringing Deeps

The Earthen Excavator’s Shovel can be found on the ground beneath one of the mining pavillions north of Gundargaz, roughly at the coordinates 49 and 27.

5) Devout Archaeologist’s Excavator: Mereldar, Hallowfall

The Devout Archaeologist’s Excavator can be found on a table in the southeast area of Mereldar in Hallowfall, roughly at the coordinates 43 and 56.

6) Arathi Precision Drill: Bereldar’s Bounty, Hallowfall

The Arathi Precision Drill can be found in Bereldar’s Bounty in Hallowfall, roughly at the coordinates 46 and 64. This one can be hard to spot as it’s on a workbench in an alcove beneath a house.

7) Nerubian Mining Supplies: The Burrows, City of Threads, Azj-Kahet

The Nerubian Mining Supplies can be found in a mining cart at the lowest level of the City of Threads, called the Burrow, roughly at the coordinates 48 and 40.

8) Heavy Spider Crusher: Umbral Bazaar, City of Threads, Azj-Kahet

The Heavy Spider Crusher can be found on a table beside the Mining Supplies Vendor in the Umbral Bazaar of the City of Threads, roughly at the coordinates 46 and 21.

Once you’ve located each Mining Knowledge Treasure, open your bags and right-click on each Treasure to gain three Mining Knowledge points for every one you use.
