Dota 2 Compendium 2024: All content, features, and prices for TI13 Compendium

The grind begins.

The wait is finally over, with Valve adding The International 2024 Compendium in a (not so surprising) surprise Dota 2 update on Aug. 22, letting you complete challenges or purchase levels to unlock many rewards.

With less than two weeks to The International 2024’s kickoff, Valve introduced the highly anticipated hero Ringmaster and the Compendium in Dota 2. The 2024 Compendium is similar to the one that dropped last year, where Valve moved away from the battle pass approach in favor of a Compendium to focus more on gameplay updates rather than skins.

This means there are fewer unlockables to grind for, but more fun to be had through participating in Compendium 2024 events: Fantasy, The Oracle’s Challenge, and Bingo.

If you’re wondering whether to buy Dota 2’s Compendium 2024, here’s all the content it offers, along with its price.

Dota 2’s Compendium 2024 primarily offers two things: Unlockable rewards and three events to participate in, each tied to the results and events that take place in the TI13.

Compendium Rewards

There are no Arcanas available in the TI13 Compendium; instead, you can unlock the following rewards:

  • Three Fantasy Crafting Rolls and Bingo Tokens.
  • A random loading screen from a competing team.
  • Five permanent chat wheel voice lines.
  • A custom HUD skin.
  • A random team logo sticker from a competing team.
  • A random autographed player sticker from a member of a competing team.
  • A random International 2024-themed loading screen.
  • Teleport FX.
  • A custom versus screen to feature your effigies.
  • An Effigy block to creature a statue of your favorite heroes.
  • The International 2024 Collector’s Aegis.

Fantasy

This lets you create a fantasy roster of three pros comprising of one core, mid, and support player from The International 2024 teams. You can pick your roster three times: once for the Group Stage, Playoffs, and finally for the TI13 grand finals. In short, you must pick the three players you think will perform the best during each stage of the tournament to accumulate maximum points.

The Oracle’s Challenge

You need to predict the winner of each series in Dota 2’s The International 2024, earning you Compendium Points based on your accuracy. Additionally, before the group matches begin, you can pick the order of the final standings for the four groups. During the Road to the International (Sept. 4 to Sept. 10), you can get more than 26 correct predictions earning you 25000 Compendium Points, with one to five correct picks netting you just 1000 points. On the other hand, during the playoffs and the finals weekend (Sept. 13 to Sept. 15), one earns you 1250, and 10 correct predictions will give you 20000 Compendium Points.

Bingo

Like the first two events, Bingo is the same as the one available in the Compendium of the previous year. Every Compendium owner gets a random Bingo card for the three stages of the tournament, with each square representing something that could happen during the pro matches. For example, the first block for the Group Stage is Look Sharp, which you can hit if one Divine Rapier is purchased in a match.

Supporter’s Club and Talent Stickers

The Supporter’s Club returns with Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers to support your favorite teams competing in TI13. Depending on the tier, you get the team’s emoticons, sprays, loading screens, and chat wheel lines as permanent rewards, with 50 percent of the sales from the bundles going directly to the team in question.

Talent Stickers also give you a similar option to purchase bundles featuring stickers, voice lines, and autographs from your favorite casters, analysts, and hosts appearing on the TI13 broadcast.

Should you buy the Dota 2 TI13 Compendium?

If you’re closely following The International 2024 matches and wish to participate in the fantasy events, then the TI13 Compendium is up your alley. However, I’m skipping the 2024 Compendium, as my only reason to grind levels was the Arcanas, with the hero personas being a bonus.
