How to farm Anode Iron Particles in The First Descendant

Not the quickest material to farm

The First Descendant has a wide variety of materials you need to find to craft new characters and weapons. One of the rarer materials is the Anode Iron Particles required to craft multiple weapons and Descendants.

Anode Iron Particles drop from Elite enemies in Hagios. One of the fastest missions to farm this material is the Broadband Fleet Beacon in Forward Base. The mission takes place in one area where you have to kill enemies, destroy the generator, and stay in the circle with orbital bombardment.

This mission features three Elite enemies that can drop the Anode Iron Particles. The first carries the bomb for the generator, and the other two spawn during the circle phase of the mission. Kill each of them for a chance to get the Anode Iron Particles.

You can also clear the following missions in Hagios to get Anode Iron Particles:

  • Vulgus Blockade battlefield mission
  • Deep Digger battlefield mission
  • Large Supply Transport Point battlefield mission
  • Broadband Fleet Beacon normal mission
  • Antiaircraft defensive position normal mission
  • Ancient Quantum Facility normal mission
  • Tethered Energy position normal mission
  • Ruins Guard Facility normal mission

Most of these missions take 10 to 15 minutes to complete (you can complete them much faster with a well-built Descendant), and each Elite enemy drops one to two Anode Iron Particles, depending on the difficulty.

You need seven Anode Iron Particles to craft weapon parts: 27 for Yujin Spiral Catalyst and 62 for Ultimate Ajax Stabilizer. So, I recommend clearing the missions on Hard difficulty to get more drops.
