Fortunate Star god roll and best perks in Destiny 2

A new Void Lightweight bow has arrived, at last.

Decent Void bows, short of Le Monarque, are hard to come by in Destiny 2—but Bungie has heard and answered, rolling out the Fortunate Star for Solstice 2024.

This Lightweight Void bow has landed and should be an instant addition to your collection thanks to its range of god rolls up for grabs. That said, which god roll rules them all? Here’s our pick for the PvE and PvP god rolls for Fortunate Star in Destiny 2.

What is the god roll for Fortunate Star in Destiny 2?

There’s abundant great rolls for Fortunate Star for many different playstyles, meaning there’s something for everyone. I’m going with Successful Warm-Up and Destabilizing Rounds, which will make this similar to the Le Monarque Exotic. It’s great if you’re rocking anything Void-related for your subclass that interacts with the Volatile effect.

Archer’s Tempo is also a solid all-around pick for column one, as is Repulsor Brace for those going all-out on Void for overshields. PvP-wise, there’s plenty: Archer’s Tempo and Archer’s Gambit come to mind, but with Opening Shot, Kill Clip, and Precision Instrument in column two, you can’t really go wrong here.

I’d lean to Archer’s Tempo and Opening Shot, although a Hip-Fire Grip and Archer’s Gambit roll would also be fun and competitive in the Crucible for that extra-fast fire speed from the hip.

How to get Fortunate Star in Destiny 2

Fortunate Star can be collected during Solstice events in Destiny 2. You’ll come across multiple copies of the Fortunate Star while running Bonfire Bash during the 2024 version, each coming with random rolls, so you’ll need to get lucky here.

You’ll also have a chance of receiving Fortunate Star by progressing Eva Levante’s Bonfire Bash quests, but your best play will be completing any Destiny 2 activity in the EAZ. Once you’ve landed the roll you want, you can then enhance the weapon and level it up to unlock more powerful, enhanced versions.
