If you’re looking for a fresh new way to experience the battlefield in PUBG, then Update 31.1 should add a bit more excitement for you and your friends with some new goodies, like the Clan System and a new weapon attachment.
PUBG players can expect some live maintenance for the upcoming patch over the next two weeks, with PC getting updated on Wednesday, Aug. 7 and console on Wednesday, Aug. 14. Afterward, you can jump into the fray alongside your friends with the new clan system, which allows you to fight beside your pals in new challenges and missions.

Updated clan system
The PUBG developers have added new features to the clan system, including a weekly mission system that offers rewards for you and your teammates. The weekly challenges are split between joint clan challenges and individual clan member missions that must be completed before the mission reset on Wednesdays.
As you finish clan challenges, you’ll level up your clan’s Supply Airplane class, which will provide you with better goodies from Clan Loot Caches you receive for finishing your individual clan member missions. Clan loot caches will give players BP, credits, imprints, and polymers, so it’s in your best interest to complete clan challenges with your teammates to earn Gauge Points for your Supply Airplane.
Your Supply Airplane class is determined by how many Gauge Points you’ve gained through clan challenges, and after every weekly reset, a number of points will be removed depending on your class. Gauge Points and your airplane class will be locked in every Wednesday, so if you want to level up your class and gain more rewards, get to grinding.
Weekly clan XP goal
There are also five weekly clan XP goals you and your friends can grind for so you can earn yourself the new clan-exclusive currency, Clan Tokens. Clan Tokens can only be used by the Clan Master or a manager, and are used to buy a variety of different items, such as a new clan tag plate, a one-time-use Sandbox Mode ticket, or a Hunter’s Chest ticket that’ll give three random members a chest.
New attachment, existing attachment changes
The newest attachment being added to PUBG is the Muzzle Brake, which can be used on most assault rifles, marksman rifles, and a selection of shotguns as well. This attachment helps add a good amount of vertical and horizontal recoil control, while also reducing camera shake when firing by a whopping 50 percent.
There are also some changes to current attachments in the game, including increased ADS speed for the Holographic Sight, better vertical recoil control and recovery for the Thumb Grip, better horizontal recoil control for the Angled Foregrip, and a nerf to the Lightweight Grip’s muzzle rise control and initial shot recoil control.
