OpTic absolutely dominated Epsilon, defeating the Europeans 250-164 on Scorch Hardpoint, 6-1 on Crusher Search and Destroy, and 5-2 on Throwback Uplink.

In the final match of the night, Cloud9 jumped out to an early lead against OpTic with a 250-195 win on Throwback Hardpoint. But from that point on, the Green Wall took control of the series. OpTic defeated C9 6-2 on Breakout Search and Destroy, 13-7 on Precinct Uplink, and 250-238 on Scorch Hardpoint to secure their spot in the $500,000 Stage Two Playoffs.

Team EnVyUs looked equally as impressive as OpTic on Saturday, going a perfect 6-0 in map count after sweeping Cloud9 and Epsilon. After struggling in Search and Destroy on Friday, EnVyUs made some quick adjustments to instantly improve in that game mode—the boys in blue won 6-3 on Crusher Search and Destroy against C9 and 6-2 on Breakout Search and Destroy against Epsilon.

Entering the final day of regular season action in Stage Two, OpTic is in first at 4-0, while Team EnVyUs is right behind them at 3-1. OpTic and EnVyUs have already clinched their playoff berths, but will battle it out in the final match on Sunday night to determine who is the first seed in Group Green.

Cloud9 is in third place with a 1-3 record and 4-11 map count, while Epsilon is shockingly in last at 0-4.

Group Green will come to an end tomorrow (July 23), and Sunday’s action kicks off at 2pm ET with OpTic Gaming going up against Epsilon.
