JoshOG had been preparing for this surgery all week and, according to a tweet posted to his account by his mom, everything went exactly as planned.

“This is MommaOG,” the tweet reads. “Josh has gotten out of surgery and everything went great. I’ll keep you guys updated once he wakes up.”

In a Twitter video JoshOG posted on Monday, he was looking forward to having the procedure done. “I’m not nervous at all, and I’m super excited and happy to have this done,” JoshOG said. “I’ve literally been in excruciating pain from the time I wake up, to the time I go to bed. It’s been absolutely terrible.”

Gallbladder removal is a common and routine procedure with very low chances of complications. Depending on the method of removal, recovery can take up to six weeks.

For now, it looks like MommaOG will be keeping JoshOG’s fans in the loop.
