Another leak has surfaced about an upcoming weapon in the game: The L-STAR EMG. There has been plenty of discussion surrounding the L-STAR already, but dataminers have found images that give players their first glimpse at the gun.

Many people have been talking about the L-STAR, with some internet investigators saying that Respawn had actually shown the new weapon in the promotional art of the game. The gun found by dataminers looks very similar to the gun in the art. These new images may be the L-STAR equipped with a barrel stabilizer.

Additionally, the L-STAR is already a weapon in another Respawn game, Titanfall. In Titanfall, the L-STAR is an energy light machine gun that has an overheat mechanism when fired for too long. It also makes sense that the gun would be in Apex since the game takes place in the Titanfall universe.

People expect the L-STAR to drop during the start of season one, alongside the long-awaited Battle Pass and Apex‘s newest rumored character, Octane.
