As of now, Respawn Entertainment has not issued an official start date for the battle pass—or season one of Apex. Many expect season one of Apex will start with the release of the battle pass along with a new Legend some believe is Octane. Right now, many are pointing toward March 12 as the official start for season one and the battle pass.

Even though Respawn has remained silent about the release date of the battle pass, it wouldn’t be a surprise if it became available with no forewarning. Apex in its entirety was released with little information preceding it just over a month ago. With Respawn’s method of silently releasing content, it wouldn’t be a surprise if season one starts in a similar fashion.

Once season one eventually starts, it’s expected to run for approximately three months before season two begins in June. Along the way, the battle pass will allow players to pick up an assortment of cosmetics. Additionally, new Legends will be released throughout the seasons, but they aren’t expected to be unlockable through the battle pass. For now, Apex players will have to continue to wait—although it might not be much longer.
