Vitality will be without its superstar mid laner for at least today’s match in the LEC.

The organization announced that Daniele “Jiizuke” di Mauro will miss today’s match due to medical issues. Lucas “Saken” Fayard will make his LEC debut and temporarily replace Jiizuke in the starting lineup.

Vitality are one of the strongest teams in the LEC right now—they’re in second place with an 8-4 record in the Spring Split. But the team might find it difficult to succeed without their star mid laner.

Most recently, Vitality lost to Fnatic on Feb. 23. The back-and-forth game featured Jiizuke’s Fizz and a Tahm Kench Elder Drake steal—but in the end, Fnatic kept their playoff hopes alive by destroying Vitality’s Nexus in 42 minutes.

Vitality face two middle-of-the-pack teams this week, starting with a game against Misfits today at 1pm CT. Although this could be a tough match for Vitality without Jiizuke, fans of the organization will undoubtedly hope to see their star mid laner back in action tomorrow against Origen.
