How to watch the Fortnite ESL Katowice Royale tournament

Starting March 1, 100 international Fortnite players will go head-to-head in a mixture of solos and duos tournaments at ESL Katowice Royale.

Here’s everything you need to know about the international edition of the ESL Katowice Royale.

Players

The tournament will feature a stacked lineup of Fortnite players, including Ghost Gaming’s, Rocco “Saf” Morales and Timothy “Bizzle” Miller who both secured wins at this months Fortnite Secret Skirmish.

Jake “Poach” Brumleve and Noah “Vivid” Wright and Nate “NateHill” Hill and Trevor “FunkBomb” Siegler highlight the duos for the tournament. Both have seen incredible success in previous tournaments, currently sitting within the top twenty Fortnite earners.

ESL announced that the winner of last weekends Polish edition of the tournament,  Jarek “JarkoS” Kaleta will be participating in the international solos.

Schedule

The tournament will run from March 1 to 3, starting with the solos tournament on the first day and the duos tournaments on the final two days.

For all three days, the first match will begin at 5am CT and conclude with the last match at 12:20pm CT.

Format

Both tournaments will be ranked using a point system with players being awarded for both eliminations and placement.

Solos Tournament  

  • Each Elimination: 5 Points
  • Victory Royale: 65 Points
  • 2nd Place: 58 Points
  • 3rd Place: 56 Points
  • 4th Place: 54 Points
  • 5th Place: 52 Points
  • . . .
  • 50th Place: 1 Point

Duos Tournament

  • Each Elimination: 5 Points
  • Victory Royale: 65 Points
  • 2nd Place: 56 Points
  • 3rd Place: 52 Points
  • 4th Place: 48 Points
  • 5th Place: 44 Points

  • 25th Place: 1 Point

Prize Pool

The prize pools will differ between each tournament, with $100,000 being up for grabs in the solos and $400,000 in the duos.

  • 2nd: $16,000

  • 4th: $8,000
  • 5-6th: $6,000
  • 7 -10th: $4,000
  • 11-16th: $2,000
  • 17-20th: $1,000

Duos Tournament

Total: $400,000
