Another Call of Duty roster has found a home for the upcoming season of WWII.
Projekt Evil has signed Christopher “ProFeeZy” Astudillo, Seth “Glory” Donskey, Michael “Beehzy” Said, and Lyric Quinonez, with Sam “Fenix” Spencer as the team’s coach, the organization announced earlier today.
ProFeeZy revealed his intentions to team with this group of players on Sept. 5—and now they’ve joined Projekt Evil roughly one month later.
Glory and ProFeeZy also both have experience playing for Projekt Evil—the two teamed alongside Jason “Prophet” Nicoletti and Ethan “FA5TBALLA” Wedgeworth for the 2017 Call of Duty World League Championship in August. The team struggled at the final event of Infinite Warfare, and these four players chose to go their separate ways after a top 32 placing at the $1.5 million tournament.
But Glory still wanted to keep teaming with ProFeeZy heading into Call of Duty: WWII.
“Well after CoD Champs, ProFeeZy and I knew we wanted to become a team-of-two, and Fenix ended up hitting us both up to join him and Lyric and look for one,” Glory told Dot Esports. “We knew instantly that Beehzy would be a perfect fit on this team, so we picked him up.”
Beehzy is a talented slayer who has played for teams like Lethal Gaming, Most Wanted, and eRa Gaming. And Beehzy actually was briefly a part of Projekt Evil with Glory and ProFeeZy. Projekt Evil signed the lineup of ProFeeZy, Glory, Beehzy, and FA5TBALLA on July 5, but the team chose to replace Beehzy with Prophet five days later on July 10.
Lyric, on the other hand, returned to competitive Call of Duty this year after competing throughout the Advanced Warfare season in 2015. The 19-year-old secured a top 20 placing at the CWL Dallas Open in March with eRa Eternity, and he finished the Infinite Warfare season with Pnda Gaming.
Glory thinks that this lineup has the potential to do some damage as the Call of Duty series returns to boots-on-the-ground gameplay in WWII.
“Our expectations are very high, not only to place well throughout the entire year, but in each other as teammates,” Glory said. “Fenix made us realize how much more we can push ourselves to become not only better players, but teammates.”
Fans will be keeping their eyes on this new Projekt Evil lineup when the WWII season kicks off later this year.
