The constant stream of new Hearthstone cards is coming to an end. There’s just a couple more left to go before the release of Rise of Shadows on April 9. The latest card on the list is Archivist Elysiana, an eight-mana neutral legendary, with seven attack and seven health.

The card has a Battlecry that Discovers five cards and replaces your deck with two copies of each.

Archivist Elysiana is perhaps one of the most unique cards in the Rise of Shadows. It brings a completely new concept into the game and could lead to some interesting deck builds.

It’s a card that would work exceptionally well in a control deck. It would be ideal in late game situations where you and your opponent are heading towards fatigue. You could simply play Elysiana, refresh your deck, and stall the game for the victory. It’s neutral too, so it’s extremely dynamic. It’s a card that could easily see itself in multiple decks.

Elysiana could potentially work within a Hakkar deck, too. It would completely negate Corrupted Blood, allowing you to run Hakkar, the Soulflayer, without any consequences.

It does have its weaknesses, though. It needs to be built around a deck that can survive the early game and withstand aggression. If your deck is too mana heavy, you’ll quickly be overwhelmed, and Elysiana will be wasted.
