Space Marine 2 offers plenty of features, including customization of your character in various modes, and the PvE Operations are already very popular—with more missions to be added in the future.

Not everyone may want to play with random players when friends are offline, though. So, we’ve got the answer on whether you can play solo.

Currently, the only way to play Operations mode solo in Space Marine 2 is to disconnect your platform from the internet or set it to Offline Mode. These methods have significant setbacks, however, as your progress isn’t saved when you’re offline.

Major updates are around the corner to improve this, however, as the Space Marine 2 roadmap shows private PvE lobbies will be added in September during season one as a free update. An exact launch for the update has not been revealed.

Once private lobbies are available, you should be able to launch Operations as a solo player while still connected to online services, and it should also enable you to play Operations with just one other player rather than adding a third, random player to your squad.

At launch, six Operations missions are available, but more will be added in future seasons, as shown in the roadmap, alongside other new features like the new Lethal difficulty and the Neo-Volkite Pistol.
